Chinese Rectangular Lidded Jar
Item Details
A Chinese rectangular stoneware lidded jar. The jar features a lid with Chinese lion handle atop a rectangular jar painted to two side with the image of a girl chasing a butterfly with a net and to the other sides a cherry tree branch and peonies in bloom. The jar is painted in bright shade of blue, pink yellow and green. The underside bears an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark, however, it was produced during the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
