Brass Shoe Shine Foot Rest and Antique Stirrups

Item Details

A brass shoe shine foot rest and two pairs of antique brass stirrups. The brass shoe shine foot rest features a dress shoe shaped plate with an indentation for the heel set diagonally on curved serpentine supports affixed to a rectangular brass base mounted to a larger rectangular piece of wood. Each of the brass stirrups is shaped in the form of a shoe with a pointed upturned toe. Both pairs of stirrups feature an arched loop at the top of the foot and decorative linear engraving to either side of the loop.

Condition

- scratches and tarnish on stand. Scratches and dents on one pair of stirrups. Areas of green corrosion on the other pair.
