A pair of blue and white ceramic guardian lion censers.The censers feature guardian lions with a white finish and blue decorative designs with blue outlines to the face and growling teeth. The lions are displayed on ceramic blocks with a blue and white finish and decorative scrollwork and floral design with openings to the base for incense. The guardian lions are stamped to the underside ‘Jiangxi jingde, zeng Shandong dao’ (江西景德, 曾山东道).
