A sterling silver cigarette case and match safe. The vintage monogrammed cigarette case was manufactured by Battin & Co., of Newark New Jersey, in business from 1896-1922. The match safe offers applied decoration including a fly, seahorse and moth, and was made by George W. Shiebler of New York, in operation 1876-1910. Both pieces are hallmarked as sterling silver and the total approximate weight of the group is 4.190 ozt
