A pair of hand-colored engravings of coastal scenes originally engraved by William Henry Bartlett (1809 – 1854). These prints titled Saw Mill at Centre Harbour and East Port Passamaquoddy Bay depict people walking and carrying out tasks near calm bodies of water. They are inscribed in-plate to the lower margins. The prints are presented behind glass in wooden frames with a metal hanging wire to the versos. Affixed to the versos is a label from The Cherry Chest Antique Shop.
Condition
- discoloration; warping to grounds; wear to frames; water damage to the verso of one.
