A Chinese hand carved camphorwood chest featuring rectangular case with hinged lid completely hand carved with vignettes featuring figures, ships, trees, leaves and flowers. The trunk opens with a decorative brass-plated hinged clasp to an empty well. The trunk rises on carved bracket legs.
