A Chinese Buddhist metal incense burner. This gold tone metal incense burner features a round floral motif filigree lid with arched handle and raised Buddha figure. Rounded bowl has ornate double dragon handles to each side with beaded accents, a round pedestal with scrolling accents and round base with raised scrolling and floral pattern. Piece is marked ‘Great Ming’ (大明) to the underside with Chinese character flanked by double dragons, however, the censer was produced in the late 20th century. .
