Chinese Enameled Porcelain Plates

Item Details

A pairing of Chinese porcelain plates. Each is enameled with a polychrome figural vignette to the well and a copious floral and geometric motifs to the rim. Included is a plate with a lotus shaped vignette depicting a female figure at work. It is accompanied by a plate accented with alternating reserves to the rim, finished with gilt trim. The plates bear no discernible maker’s marks.

- minor marks and faint scratches consistent with gentle use.
