A Chinese lidded ceramic jar. This decorative item is made of a ceramic material with a white finish across its surface. It has an illustrative scene on its lid of an idealized Asian landscape. On its side is a figural scene which depicts a group of figures sitting on the ground unrolling a long paper scroll. This item has a series of character marks on it’s lid and exterior surface.
