Chinese Porcelain Vase

A Chinese porcelain vase. The vase has a flared lip and narrow neck gracefully expanding to a wide shoulder. The white underglaze of the vase features a green, yellow and pink floral pattern on a blue glaze. The vase features figural vignettes of a group of men on one side and a group of women gathered around an older man reading a scroll on the opposite side. The shoulder is decorated with a border showing bat and floral motifs in prominent shades of red and white on a green glaze. The neck repeats the body’s floral motif with the addition of red bats. The vase is marked to the underside with an apocryphal Kangxi reign mark, however, the vase was produced during the 20th century.
