Chinese Ceramic Ginger Jar

A Chinese ceramic ginger jar. This Asian motif ceramic ginger jar features a bell shaped lid with guardian lion handle and green leaf motif and a rounded jar that tapers to a flat base with Asian robed figures in a tree lined landscape. The jar is marked with an apocryphal Xianfeng reign mark, however, the jar was likely produced during the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
