Chinese Ceramic Ginger Jar

Item Details

A Chinese ceramic ginger jar. The jar is glazed in white featuring a figural scene of the Chinese Three wise men. The jar is topped with a figural guardian lion. The underside is marked with an apocryphal Xianfeng reign mark, however, the vase was likely produced during the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
