A Mid Century Modern dining table and chairs designed by T.H. Robs-John Giddings for Widdicomb Furniture. Featuring mixed hardwood construction in a light maple finish, this dining set boasts a round expandable table with leaf, pads and eight side chairs. The table sits on stylized round legs with a curvilinear stretcher and the chairs have a round top rail and two horizontal slats to the back. The chairs sit on round legs, have an ‘H’ stretcher, consist of four side chairs, two arm chairs and have a foam padded seat upholstered in a white damask. The leaf mechanism is marked to the under side, “The Watertown Slide, Patented and Manufactured by Watertown Table Slide Corporation, Watertown, Wisconsin.’
