Vintage RS Germany Hand-painted Porcelain Plates
Item Details
A selection of hand-painted porcelain tableware including a serving platter with pierced handles, six plates, and a pair of salt and pepper shakers. The Reinhold Schlegelmilch platter and plates display delicate pink floral patterns on blended green and white fields with gilding to the edges. They were produced in Germany between 1914-45 and are marked ‘RS Germany’ to the underside. The hobbyist painted spice shakers present pink and green flowers on the graduated pillar forms with gilt accents. They are signed ‘E. Barsness/5-12-53.’
Condition
- spots to plates; stains, discoloration and loss of gilding to spice shakers; shakers are missing stoppers.
