An A.F. Limoges banana motif trinket box. This hand painted porcelain pill box opens upward, toward the top of the banana, to reveal a storage compartment. Each of the two sections has a gold tone cap over the rim, connected by a hinge and held closed with a gold tone clasp depicting a monkey eating a banana. The box has a hand signed mark to the inside ‘Peint Main AF Limoges France’.
