A glazed ceramic relief made up of multiple tiles. The piece depicts a stylized figure of St. Francis with blue face and red robes holding a blue bird. The piece is presented without glass in a pale grey shadowbox style frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. No signature or maker’s mark was found.

Condition

- to fair; small hairline crack near right center, below bird; minor surface wear, crazing, nicks, edge wear, accretion and markings to tiles; three tiles are divided along irregular lines; wear, scuffing and minor marks to frame.
