Vintage Schilke Trumpets and C. Mahillon Piccolo Trumpet
Item Details
A grouping of three Schilke trumpets and a C. Mahillon piccolo trumpet. The trumpets have a silver-toned finish, three valves and are marked ‘Schilke/Chicago/USA’ to the second valve tube. Serial numbers to the second value tube are #2445, #2866 and #5505. The piccolo trumpet is marked ‘C. Mahillon/Brussels/Since 1836 H’ with the serial number #521 and engraving ‘Made In Belgium’. Accessories include brass and silver-toned Schilke mouthpieces, mouthpiece brush, a silver-toned tuning slide with the water key, a Yamaha silent brass mute and additional accessories which are all housed in a lined Schilke hardshell case with handle.
Condition
- finish and patina loss; dents; untested. Case shows signs of wear.
