Shreve Crump & Low Slate Mantel Clock

A Shreve, Crump & Low slate mantel clock. The clock has a box shape with a black slate case that features carved angelic faces with brass trim on the side columns. Other features of the clock include a round, beaded brass and glass front door that displays a black face with raised brass Roman numerals and brass hands with two key arbors on the face. The clock has a brass door on the verso with a brass pendulum and a plinth style base with a carved angel face with gilded trim and the clock stands on scrolled and gilded bracket feet with beaded and floral accents. The clock is marked ‘Shreve Crump & Low’ on the face.
