*An antique oil painting of a smiling cow by well listed Italian artist Giovanni Milone (19th century). This oil painting depicts a bucolic scene replete with four cows, one of which appears to be smiling, in a softly rendered summer landscape. This painting is signed in black to the lower right. It is presented in a gold-tone composite frame with cast embellishments. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
Condition
- this painting has several areas of repair in addition to two large (3.5" and 1.75") horizontal tears in the canvas.
