Item Details
A hand-knotted Pak-Kazak runner. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of rose, aqua, lavender, indigo, camel, and ivory. It features an infinity pattern beginning with five starburst medallions arranged vertically over a rose colored field. Each medallion encloses a gul with out-pointing arrows amid abstract motifs. Framing the field is an unresolved main border featuring alternating boxed florets and geometric Shirvan-style bracket motifs. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with ivory cotton warp fringe. Unlabeled.
