Hand-Knotted Bokhara Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Bokhara wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of wine, ivory, black, and rust. The wine colored field features eight Ersari style guls with partial Chemche guls to the edges. Framing the field is a main chained hooked medallion border with zigzag guard borders, along with Tekke style forms to a panel at each end. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and an ivory wool fringe to the ends, as well as a label to the underside.
