An oil painting on board of a landscape ‘Monches’ by Wisconsin artist Robert Lahmann (1922-2014). This painting depicts a winter landscape with soft brown dried grasses and bare-branched trees under a blue cloud scattered sky. There are two figures gathering wood with a small dog in the center of the composition. The painting is titled, signed, and dated (’60) to the lower right.
