A circa 1970s lath art wall hanging by artist Theodore DeGroot. The piece depicts a rural covered bridge, created with a combination of painted and unfinished strips of wood. The work features a muted palette rendered in shades of blue, white, green and brown. It is signed ‘degroot’ to the lower right and presented without glass in a floating wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing is marked ‘Lath Art Austin’.

- to fair; some pieces are loose inside composition; minor surface wear and markings throughout; edge wear and scuffing to frame; toning and wear to verso.
