A 2003 carved wooden relief wall hanging titled In the Russian North by Samara, Russia artist A.V. Knyazev. The piece depicts a Russian waterfront landscape scene, with two small rowboats and a pier to the foreground, set against a backdrop of cloudy skies and a rustic onion-domed building. The work is signed with an incised marking of ‘A. Князев’ to the lower right, with additional artist and title information written in both Russian and English to the verso. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
