Item Details
An antique French Rococo Revival style marble top dresser. This incised carved beechwood dresser has a mottled brown and white marble top overhanging four full width, stacked drawers. The hand cut dovetail joinery drawers feature a serpentine facade with cast brass foliate handles and central escutcheons, keys included. The dresser rises on short cabriole legs with acanthus leaf detail terminating on scroll feet. The dresser top features a framed mirror with C-scroll and acanthus leaf carved cartouche. The mirror terminates on two glove drawers with serpentine facade and cast brass foliate knob pulls. There are no visible maker’s marks.
