Item Details

An antique bisque socket head doll with a composition body. Featured is an antique German made doll with a bisque socket head topped with a wig, hand-painted feathered brows, inset glass eyes with painted lashes, ruddy cheeks, and parted lips which reveal teeth. Her fully jointed composition body is clad in a dress comprised of a grey lace bodice with pearl buttons and ivory colored skirt, and is enclosed in a glass and wood display case. The back of the neck is impressed ‘1916 6½a’.
