An early lace-up leather basketball. This antique piece of sports equipment has no manufacturer’s name or mark. Missing its interior bladder and leather lacing, this basketball does not hold air. With a dark patina, the outer leather exhibits scuffs and areas of missing material from service and age usage. A true relic from America’s own game of basketball.
