Hand-Knotted Indo-Persian Mir-A-Boteh Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted, Indo-Persian Mir-A-Boteh Seraband wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in denim blue, ivory, mauve, indigo, brick and moss green, and features a repeating boteh pattern on the denim field. It has barber pole minor borders and a traditional seraband pattern compound border over ivory. The selvedges are overcast and there is a fabric strip sewn to the underside edges and natural warp fringe at each end. A tag is attached to the back indicating the country of origin reading ‘Hand Made in India’.
