Hand-Knotted Indian Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Indian wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, ivory, mauve, sky blue, ochre, camel, cornsilk, and sage. The indigo colored field begins with a diamond pendant medallion, and features an over abundance of scrolling foliate and floral motifs, along with layered spandrels. Framing the field is a main herati patterned border with a pair of floral meander guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges with a cotton ivory warp fringe to the ends, as well as a label to the underside.
