A collection of Johnson Brothers ceramic tableware in The Friendly Village pattern including eight dinner plates, six luncheon plates, six salad plates, eight bread and butter plates, eight dessert plates, seven cereal bowls, eight fruit bowls, six teacups, eight saucers, six demitasse cups, six demitasse saucers, three oval serving platters, and one creamer. Each piece features a transferware design of a village setting consisting of a red brick house surrounded by a snowy backdrop. They are marked to the undersides ‘Johnson Bros., The Friendly Village, Made in England’.
