A set of four bird-themed sterling silver limited edition plates from The National Audubon Society and The Franklin Mint. Each piece has a round shape, featuring a flat-bottomed well with an etched image of birds, sloped sides, and a plain lip. The set from the National Audubon Society includes The Cardinal, The Goldfinch, and The Wood Duck, and they are presented with a 1973 Thanksgiving plate from The Franklin Mint. Each is marked to the underside with the maker’s mark, for silver fineness, and numbered. The total approximate weight is 23.885 ozt.
