Antique Salter's Roasting Jack ca. 1860's
Item Details
An antique brass roasting jack. The meat roasting spit was hung above a fire and turning the key enabled the device to rotate meat hands-free for even cooking. It is marked ’Salter’s Economical Warranted’ to the label placing production in the mid 19th century.
Condition
- dented and scratched; key included; untested.
