A signed Ted Kluszewski baseball This baseball was signed by Ted on the ‘sweet spot’ in black ballpoint pen. The autograph is bold and smudge free and has been professionally authenticated by JSA with a full letter enclosed. Presented on a wood base, there is a date of ‘June 1966’ on a gold metal plaque affixed to the stand. This baseball was awarded or presented to a participant at Ted’s ‘Baseball Camp’ over fifty years ago. Theodore Bernard ‘Big Klu’ Kluszewski (September 10, 1924 – March 29, 1988) was an American professional baseball player from 1947 through 1961. He spent most of his 15-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career playing for the Cincinnati Reds as a first baseman. Ted Kluszewski was a National League (NL) All-Star for four seasons. He had a .298 lifetime batting average and In 1962, was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame.

Condition

Good Condition. The baseball is toned from age. There is a JSA full letter that accompanies this signed baseball. The baseball is affixed to the wood stand. The gold plaque has some age residue.
