Two Vintage Anti-Communist Records
Item Details
A pair of mid-century 33 RPM vinyl records of anti-communist lectures. They are titled ‘Communist Trickery’ by Dr. Fred C. Schwarz and ‘Cybernetic Warfare’ by Herbert Philbrick. The latter title refers to what we would today call psychological warfare, as ‘cybernetics’ was defined more broadly in the pre-internet age as ‘the scientific study of control and communication in the animal and the machine.’* Both were released by Key Records, a label associated with the John Birch Society. They were not tested but visually appear to be in good condition. Original sleeves included.
