An offset lithograph on paper after John Gould (1804-1881), originally published in A Monograph of the Trochilidae, or Family of Hummingbirds, London: published by the author, 1849-1861; Henry Sotheran & Co., 1887. This ornithological study depicts three hummingbirds of the species ‘Heliodoxa Jacula’ perched and flying among leaves with colorful flowers. Publication information is included beneath the image. It is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame, wired to hang.
