A piece of string art on canvas board of a sailboat by artist Nicholas V. DeAngelo. This work depicts a multi-masted sailboat presented in profile, which is composed of various pieces of string that have been tightly wrapped over affixed nails. This rests above a polished piece of cut wood, which serves as the boat’s body. The work is presented in a stained wooden frame with hanging wire and a handwritten artist signature and date (1972) to the verso.
