Antique Victorian Walnut Dresser with Swivel Mirror

Item Details

An antique Victorian walnut dresser with swivel mirror. The mirror is housed in a scalloped edged walnut frame with carved floral top and rests on the dresser fitted with two glove boxes. The glove boxes have molded tops over single dovetailed drawers with split, turned post trims, oval piping and escutcheons. The dresser has three stacked, dovetailed drawers featuring applied, carved keyhole surrounds, fruit and acanthus leaf carved pulls, and raised trims. The dresser rises on straight legs that extend from the stiles that are accented with split turned posts, terminating on casters and embellished with scrolled brackets. There are no visible maker’s marks.
