Vintage Pewter Bed and Carriage Foot Warmers
Item Details
A pair of vintage pewter bed and carriage foot warmers. Included are a pair of oval warmers each having a ring handle affixed to a screw on cap on the top. One of the warmers features decorative scrolled detail on the ring, beading on the cap, a pair of engraved rings encircling the cap, and an engraved date and initials in cursive lettering ‘18 B.G. 98’. The other warmer features a twisted ring with bullseye detail where the ring mounts to the cap, a twist motif engraved around the rim of the cap, and engraving to either side of the cap which reads ‘J.G. Hisselli Simmern’ or similar.
