Dietz Empire Inspector's Lantern
Item Details
A Dietz inspector’s lantern. The lamp was created for use of railway inspectors for optimum functioning in various weather conditions and features a metal case with a black finish and a curved metal handle. The lantern has a curved shield surrounding a glass chimney and brass top with latches to secure the chimney. Other features of the lantern include a hook to the back for hanging and the lantern stands on a brass-tone metal base. The lantern is marked ‘Dietz’ on the verso.
