A selection of Bybee spongeware pottery decor, including a stoneware coffee pot, flower vase and chamber stick. The pieces feature a white glaze to the bodies decorated with sponged patterns in blue. The pieces are signed with the pottery initials ‘BB’ to the undersides Bybee Pottery, the oldest continually operating pottery at the foot of the Allegheny Mountains in Madison County, Kentucky, is known for its simple, utilitarian ware.

- glazing on coffee pot has crawled; large crack to coffee pot lid; wear to undersides.
