A vintage erector set in a wood box. This vintage erector set was produced by A. C. Gilbert and produced between 1928 and the early 1930s. The set includes a variety of metal parts and hardware presented in a wooden box painted red with brass tone metal closures. The box is marked on its lid ‘The New Erector, The World’s Greatest Toy, The A. C. Gilbert Co., New Haven, Conn., U.S.A.’
Condition
- some tarnishing of metal; chips, surface scratches, stains, scuffs to box; discoloration; did not check set for completeness.
