Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of deep rose, sapphire, powder blue, terracotta, indigo, gold, and wine. The deep rose colored field features an all-over herati pattern, framing the field is another herati pattern to the main border, as well as an oak leaf and carnation meander guard borders, with sawtooth minor borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and an applied cotton ivory fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
