A tufted and woven Sheffield area rug by Trans-Ocean Inc. This contemporary-style, Indian-made wool rug features a grid of flatweave squares in camel and pale blue, the squares resting on a sage-colored pile field. Edges are overcast on all sides. The rug has a full burlap backing. A label on the reverse reads, in part, ‘Trans-Ocean Inc. … Chesapeake, VA’ and ‘Hand Woven.’
