A mixed media collage on paper by artist James Bruss, titled Check. This abstract work depicts square pieces of lead and gold leaf on wood veneer, which is reinforced with drawn graphite lines that are gridded. To the lower margins is a handwritten signature, title and date, listed 1990. The work is presented under glass beneath matting in a beige wooden frame with hanging wire and a typed tag to the verso.
