A hand-knotted area rug made in India for Arthur T Gregorian Oriental Rugs Inc. This wool rug features an allover floral and foliate design in camel over an ebony field. The field is framed by three borders in camel and ebony, including a central border featuring semi-abstracted palmettes and flowers. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with short kilim skirts and ivory wool warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
