An antique two-piece walnut slant-top desk features a shaped backsplash and side rails over a shallow top and a slanted, hinged front that pulls down to create a writing surface equipped with a back wall of open cubbies and two small drawers fitted with turned wood knobs. The secretary rests on a rectangular topped table featuring a hand dovetailed constructed drawer, turned knobs and rising up on four turned legs. There are no visible maker’s marks.
