Cartier and Towle Weighted Sterling Candleholders with Silver-Plated Snuffer

A three-piece collection of weighted sterling silver candleholders with a silver-plated candle snuffer. This includes a pair of tall candleholders by Cartier, which each features a shaped capital on a tapered column and a round base with reeded accents. They are marked ‘Cartier Sterling Weighted 745’ to the undersides. Also included is a short candleholder by Towle Silversmiths, marked to the underside ‘Towle Sterling Weighted & Reinforced’. The candleholders are presented with a silver-plated candle snuffer by Gerity Products, Inc. of Toledo, OH.

Condition

- to fair; mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing; all candleholders have denting around the bases.
