A 1904 original maritime gouache on board by listed British artist and illustrator Stewart Browne. The painting depicts two sailboats anchored on calm aqua blue waters, their images reflected towards the flat sandy shoreline. The background is filled with a light blue sky highlighted with light clouds hugging the horizon. The painting is signed and dated to the lower right corner and displayed in an antique oak frame with silver leaf filet. Wired to the back for hanging.
