Late 19th Century Haviland & Company Limoges Porcelain Platter

Item Details

An antique porcelain platter by Haviland & Company Limoges. The rectangular body is molded with scalloped corners. The well is decorated with a seascape vignette, framed by gilt scrolls and a pink rim brushed with gilt to the edge. The piece bears a green underglaze mark to the base indicating production between 1888-1896. It is presented with a wooden easel for display.

Condition

- minor marks and faint scratches throughout consistent with gentle use.
