A hand-knotted Afghani Turkmen accent rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of deep scarlet red, burgundy, black, and white. The field is patterned with three octagonal shaped guls and it is framed with medahil and double crossed patterned borders. It has triple overcast selvedges and is finished with long, natural wool warp fringe to either end. Unlabeled.
